I assumed we would be 5-3 right now (beating Tulane) but also assumed we would lose next week and be 5-4. Let's hope we can sneak one out in Orlando and get back on track

Ugly first half, but a fantastic second. Way to go boys.

Nice win! Still upset about the loss to Tulane and I hope the team is seething about that loss throughout the remainder of the season. Beat UCF and I will be ok with the loss to Tulane as that was likely an assumed loss at the beginning of the season. If you can't assume a win against Tulane then you don't deserve to go bowling.

Agreed. (although I was also assuming a win against horny toads).

where are all the gilbert haters? brought a tear to my eye watching GG run for those 2 TDs especially after having to endure "the Statue" last season. Adds a whole new dimension to the offense.

agree, he needs to scramble at times. June won't like it, but do it anyway Garrett.

He held on to the ball a little long today and made a couple of overthrows. Other than that, Gilbert was fantastic. I really do think he's starting to get this thing.

Will 6-6 get us to a bowl this year? Hawaii Bowl maybe?
Hopefully we go 3-1 in our last 4, but Rice, UCF and Tulsa could all be losses too.

For those interested TCU got dropped by OSU. QB was hurt in the game as well. Now they are down to their 3rd string QB.

He's a guy who will start out stiff an awkward. As this offense ingrains itself, he's going to be really special. Sure showed glimpses today.

There is plenty to criticize, but unlike what the Junesus acolytes think, the Gilbert criticisms have been rational, thought out, and deserved. No reason to bring them out after this, his best half thus far.
