don't get all high and mighty, we kicked your [deleted] by 3 tds last year. If nothing else, we bring tradition, something UCF has zero of and some of the best classic uniforms in college football.

SMU bring potential and has an actual legacy

SMU already is one of if not the top academic school in this new conference

SMU has an amazing and loyal fan base that has the ability to call only on a mere 20 to pay the top non BCS salary coach in the conference.

The list goes on, in accounting terms we may not have the current assets we need but we sure have the best long term assets. We are an up and coming team and with the right coach we could dominate the big east. With our new basketball coach we can become a contender. In all other sports we have ranked teams with some of our athletes that every 4 years go to the Olympics. I wouldn't discount us so easily. Our potential is far superior than Mickey Mouseland University could ever dream of.

i'm wondering if that was mistake and better schools in conference should send SMU packing for better option like East Carolina.
