Back to Tulane

No one is going to want to hear this, but starting with the game against SMU Tulane has been respectable.
Oct 13 SMU W 27-26
Oct 20 UTEP L 24-20
Oct 27 UAB W 55-45
Nov 3 Rice L 49-47
They've been in all close games and went 2-2. I'm not saying that they are good, but better than expected when that loss happened.

I guess the win over SMU gave them some confidence and momentum. Glad to help them out.

True, still absolutely no reason we should have lost to them though.

the tulane team we lost to wasn't the same team they had been fielding all year. their stud RB hadn't played in a game until SMU, and their QB had been out the previous three. i know no one wants to consider facts, but whatever.
we still should have won by 14.

As I recall, our best receiver (DJ) didn't play that game,which was a major factor.
