When June departs...
does SMU have the "balls" to risk bringing this young cocky guy to the Hilltop?

By the time June departs, Kingsbury will have a line of Big 5 suitors coming after him and we'll stand no chance.

We'd be lucky to have him. He's an up and comer after the job he did at UH and now with Johnny Football. If he doesn't get scooped up this year, he will next year. He'll be the new Lane Kiffin.

Kingsbury would be a gamble, but a good gamble. He's more Texas Tech than Aggie by the way and the Red raiders wish he (or Sonny Dykes) was with them.

I would really like to have a coach who places a premium on defense.

Had JJ left when he tried to, I was hoping we would go after Sumlin. Instead he was hired by A&M a few days after later. Sumlin is a helluva HC.

I hate playing against this cocky [deleted]. And I would LOVE to have him as our next HC. He is, by far, my first choice.

I haven't really given this a lot of thought. But my initial reaction is that Kliff with a K would not be a bad choice at all. Hubby would approve as well, I think.

Manziel fell into Sumlin's lap thanks to Rossley-just how good would A&M be with the backup QB? Who knows. So you see here JWill fell into JJ's lap his first year and JJ said I'll do it MY way with my guy! And we all see the progression of JJ's QBs through his tenure -not very good and not very talented.

I think I'd rather have Dykes than Kingsbury... it may come down to gambling on Kingsbury before anyone else does. Someone is going to... soon.

SO MUCH is going to come down to choosing/recruiting/paying the staff under the head coach.

June is doing his part, but he isn't screwing this up by himself. Select members of his non-recruiting staff are helping.
