The Good Stuff

I've seen some improvements this year in areas I'd like to mention and good stuff overall:

1) Good marketing campaign and branding this year, I hope this continues for basketball
2) Lighting up local buildings downtown with SMU
3) Direction signs for parking - (which parking passes go where)
4) The Corral - good place to hang out for non-alums or blvd spot holders
5) Game day presentation has improved - have a way to go but getting better - music has improved as well
6) Boulevard is still greatness (homecoming was packed)
7) Good weather other than TCU game :)

Love what was put together to tout this team. With better performance for a game or two the effect would have been multiplied.
SMU knows the the brand needs to be highlighted to a wider demographic and this year was a start. With a few extra dollars I think this effort will further expand.

I think we have an AD that understand that part of the equation.
Go Mustang
Love the Line.

We need to continue efforts to include ALL of Dallas.

Agree that is very important to continue the efforts to include ALL of Dallas. The Mustang Corral is the biggest asset to the Boulevard to help continue this effort. Also like the food trucks that were on the Boulevard. Anyone that has not made it to the Corral yet really should go check it out. One thing that I think might help is to have some signs directing people to it along the Boulevard. I hope both the Corral and food trucks are back next year.

Must have a game ticket to get in. Free food, free drinks, several big screen TVs with other games on

Indeed, I liked the Ticket ads and the billboards were all over town too.

No offense, but Ticket ads appeal to a relatively small 20 to 30 year old demographic. I want to see Mesquite and Cedar Hill folks at our games. Maybe the Plano polo crowd too. Every Methodist congregation. ALL of Dallas.

1. The Corral - Best thing to bring people to The Boulevard that don't know someone that has a tent. I can't tell you how many people I've taken to SMU games that loved The Boulevard but felt excluded. The Corral is easily #1

2. Gameday Presentation - So much better than in previous years. Yes there is a long way to go but I've been really pleased with our efforts in this regard.

3. 72-42 - Love beating Houston even if they are way down this year.

It may be being done but if not more needs to be done on the marketing side to let Dallas know about the Corral. It is very well done and has filled a major gap that was keeping newcomers away.

Pretty popular. They have made it bigger than it was at the beginning of the season
