It could possibly work to get some newbies who don't otherwise go to games to experience the atmosphere.

I still say we should raffle a Mustang at certain home games, and you must be present to win.

I do like the idea of raffling a Mustang.

Winner to be announced at the end of the game and you must be present to win.

I'm just thankful our SMU domain doesn't contain the name of a disease. My first glance at the link all I saw was "gout SA"; seems more like someone accidentally entered their Google search.

Remember they also did creative ticket pricing for those who would commit to buy season tickets for multiple years, they have several programs to push tickets that we could copy. That's part of the reason they have more season ticket holders than us and more invested for at least couple of years.

Even with playing some directional oklahoma school earlier, their average attendance while down some from last year is still just under 28,000 for the year. I'd take 28,000 to 30,000 in Ford on regular basis over than what we draw any day.

Even if you give tickets away, you can still profit from the Mustang raffle.

We have average attendance of 18,000 in a 32,000 seat stadium. All you need is an additional 12,000 in attendance who pay for parking, food and drinks. If each person buys just $2.00 of "extras", you generate $24,000 in additional income. Car paid for!

What in the world would somebody do with a Mustang?

The Cowboys and the Texans used to give away Cadillacs to attract fans to the Cotton Bowl when we were outdrawing those teams by a large amount.

Clunker car night is a big draw at the Travlers minor league game. Local dealerships donate about 10 beat up barely running trade ins that are given away between innings during the game. Does not have to be Cadillacs. But then again Mr. Sewell could probably take care of that if we wanted to.
