Rice is 83rd in passing. 28th in Rushing. 44th points for and 102nd points against (33.8 )

They have quality loses to Marshall, Houston, Memphis (yes Memphis) and Tulsa.

They crushed Tulane, Southern Miss and UTSA.

Their strength(rush) will be tested against our defensive strength(against the rush). And we can pass on this team.

Not to sound gloomy but they play us like a rival and we usually pass on this game as any other game. I'm worried if we play with the same quality as last night we could lose pretty badly. We are a horrible road team but I feel if we can beat rice at home then (by rational thought) beat Tulsa. Next weekend we have to hope ucf comes out and destroys Tulsa otherwise no champ for us

UCF should be pretty pumped for Tulsa. also UCF looked pretty stout on D vs us (maybe that was due to us - but maybe not).

man we cant get out of CUSA fast enough. Hope we aren't the "Tulane" of the Big East.

Rice also had an open date to rest, get healthy and prepare for us. They always play us tough, especially down there.

UCF got gashed on the ground last night versus UTEP (we shut down that same kid when we played them). Tulsa has the best rushing game in the conference and they'll be playing UCF at home.

I dont think we beat Rice. We are Rice's rival, but as the above poster mentioned, we dont play it like a rivalry. Didnt we lose like 10 straight in Houston?

This team has to come out inspired and ready to dominate, they are capable of doing that.

Give Em Hell, Mustangs!!

I seriously doubt that anyone, coaches, team or fans are taking the Rice game lightly. We will have to have our best game to win, but we CAN do it.

Hey, instead of doughnuts after a victory, maybe the team can get Drums of the Pacific to cater and provide a luau.
