Because we needed a travel partner.

Just can't imagine not getting to go to Houston every other year, and we didn't want to play Memphis at home every year.

And yet we're gonna still outrecruit SMU like always. Our qb recruit who chose us over Wisconsin and multiple BCS programs among others were at the game last night and he enjoyed his visit despite the game's results.

On the football side, I have nothing to really say. This year's results speak for themselves. You guys have owned us ever since I attended SMU (starting with the "95 point game" but I hope this year is the beginning of a new era for us).

Oh, and Bottom line - you still went to UH.

Except one of those recruits didn't qualify academically. Whole lotta wasted cash bringing in "chicken"
