Margus Hunt is so close to breaking 2 more NCAA records.

He's got the FG record:
NCAA CAREER BLOCKED FGs
1. Margus Hunt, 2009- 10
2. James Ferebee, New Mexico St., 1978-81 8
Terrence Holt, North Carolina St., 1999-02 8

NCAA CAREER BLOCKED PATs - Needs 2
1. Ray Farmer, Duke, 1992-95 8
2. Margus Hunt, 2009- 7

MOST COMBINED BLOCKED KICKS - Needs 3 in any combo - Punts, PAT, or FG Attempts
19-James Ferebee, New Mexico St., 1978-81 (5 punts,
6 PATs, 8 FGs)
17 - Margus Hunt (10 FGs, 7 PATs)

Rice is usually good for a couple of blocks every year. Let's get it done on Saturday!!

How many times has he changed the momentum, or given us quick points when we needed them. And just his presence has altered game decisions by our opponents, and created opportunities for other SMU players to get their hands on kicks. It has been so much fun to watch him develop into such a dominant football player.

hasn't he given Rice fits in blocking kicks -. I think UTEP too. I just seem to remember him either blocking or psyching out the Rice kicker about 3 times in one game

Yeah in 2009 he accounted for a 8 point swing with 2 blocks including one on last play before half which was returned for TD.

Bryan McCann took that back I believe. Terrible game until that moment.

Man, what I wouldn't give to see Big 92 get his paws on a couple of kicks tomorrow.

I was walking from student section to the suites and happened to be in the end zone when that happened - watched that play unfold and they ran it to where I was standing. Great moment.

How cool is it to root for a specific guy to block a kick...and there's a good chance he does
