He's choosing basketball over football. But guess you're aren't a big fan of SMU if you didn't know the basketball team was playing Texas State.

Touche! I did know that, but somehow it slipped my mind. I guess the ultimate fan would go to both. Depending on the outcome of the first game either leave Houston early or arrive in San Marcos a little late.

I didn't get it either. I knew we were playing Texas State, but I couldn't have told you where it is or which school that is now.

Go Ponies!

It should be a good choice either way. SMU could go 3-0 for the season, which hasn't happened for a while I would guess. Cheer em on!

You might hit up Palmer's for dinner one night in SM.

Then go up the road 20 mins and browse around Cabela's in Buda..

its a more important game for the football program frankly, not even close. I will say i have no idea why Larry Brown agreed to play @ SWTSU. We just got a taste of the road at TCU, we should have paid SWTSU to come to dallas.

Pretend the route from San Marcos to Houston is the new 85 mph Austin tollroad.

I was faced with the same choice and also chose San Marcos. I can watch the football game on TV, but this will be the only time I will get to see the Basketball team this year. Well, at least, until the NCAA tournament! :D
BEAT RICE! BEAT TEXAS STATE!
