So we had Feb 2011 and Feb 2012 as well as the 'half' in the person of Gilbert the five star qb.

Good work GiddyUp. If there is a coaches corner Tuesday I will pose the question as to what became of that missive. Somehow I don't think it was 1.5 away from losing to rice and tulane.

Actually, I think he said that three years in a row, revising it because of the players who did not get in.

Only a few players did not get in. Stop the propaganda. Someone on another site did an analysis of who actually did not make it in and it was about the same player loss as any other school.

No recruit who was denied admission to SMU under June Jones has ever started a Division 1A Football game

Nice try, June.

There is nothing "positive" or "supporting" about that statement, and it is true. He went after players that couldn't get in anywhere, which boosted the perceived value of the class. When they didn't get in, he kept saying the year and a half statement.
