UConn is rumored to be the likely favorite.

The question now is when do FSU/Clemson reach out to the Big 12?

I know Louisville publicly said they were searching for a new conference a few months back.

The ACC might as well go to 16 now.

I expect the BE to be raided by the ACC which will be raided by Big 12 and Big 10

UConn is the team that will go to the ACC. However, the Big XII and SEC could easily choose to raid the ACC at this point. If that happens, the Big East as you know it (lol, we haven't even had a chance to get to know it) is already over.

Maybe the BE will take the same approach as the MWCUSA and merge with ACC and try to get their media deal to extend over them. The question is will SMU be in that merger?

UConn is the ACC's most logical target; Virginia and Va Tech help soften the loss of Maryland, but adding UConn helps supplement BC in the northeast

If/when the Big XII decides to get back to 12 and a title game, Louisville seems a logical target (they may have trouble luring Clemson and FSU although having West Virginia in the east helps)

I fully expect both the ACC & Big Least to get picked apart. I also expect 4 conferences of 16/18 teams. Everybody else will be left to fight over the carcass.
