A Sane View on Realignment

Most people on these boards seem to want a handout. Realistically the only way SMU can ever get an invitation to a power conference is by performing well on the field. Utah and TCU didn't get invitations by going 5-7 every year and touting their market size. SMU has to force their way into the conversation by winning 10+ games a year and filling up stadiums.

True, the Big East was a handout that turned out to be fool's gold. Time for us to get a new HC so we can get serious about winning.

Haha hey i rather be a relevant doormat than a future big fish of Div 1-aa... just saying. At least if we got 5 mil we could cover our coach and some extra, and hopefully win enough to renegotiate more money.

I thought that was why our COC is paying the current coach $2.2 million per year? :?

JJ has interest in the 10-win thingee.
He picks out 6 or 7 he can win and shoots for those.
