Scout and Phil Steele still see SMU beating Tulsa!

I know everybody is down after the Rice game, but given our home conference record and the fact we have a bowl to play for I still won't be surprised if we show up big time Saturday.

I want to see SMU in a bowl game. I want our underclassmen to get another month of practice. I want Zach, Ja'Gared, Margus, Taylor Reed, DJ, among others to go out with a bowl game in their senior seasons. Maybe JJ doesn't deserve a bowl, but these group of seniors does. Go Ponies

Then tell Zach not to fumble, Margus and DJ to make some plays, etc. If those guys had done their jobs they would already have clinched a bowl.

I'm hoping for armed forces if we have to go to a bowl, but if we go we better get a 7-6 record. I'm more for the extra practice then the actual bowl since it won't help us in talks with conference either way
