Four in a row

Ok, I understand nothing positive is to be posted but want to remind folks of something akin to a Silver Lining.

This was the fourth game in a row GG went without an INT. This is actually a tremendous success. And difficult to do. HE has now gone over 130 passes without an INT. And if the receivers could catch a few the results might be totally different.

I thought you we talking about the basketball team when I read the title. Because they just won 4 in a row.

Four in a row.

The number of consecutive bowl games these Seniors will have gone to if they can pull out a win against Tulsa this weekend.

I think GG has really turned a corner the past few games. Most of his incompletions are either dropped passes or throwing the ball away. June allowing him to run has also opened up a new dimension. If only we could catch...

It looks to me as if we are hesitant to throw anything more than 5 yds. I think the def backs are playing us tight and for that reason. Not sure of the thinking. Perhaps are receivers aren't running their routs correctly down field, etc. but they don't seem to be getting open down field like they should and GG is stuck with short stuff. Nonetheless, we have had our share of drops. Here's hoping everyone will be in-sink this coming weekend and we can air out the old pig skin!

I am pretty tired of the screen pass that never works. But that is nice he hasn't thrown any INTs, dont jinx it :)

His WR's have hung him out to dry all season.

That's quite a "streak." Might lead SportsCenter!
BTW, one of those "bowls" featured two teams with 12 losses between them.

It's good to point that out. Folks here (my own self included) chewed on GG pretty hard when he was struggling, we need to recognize him when he plays well.

Rayburn- totally agree. He deserves to be commended for his improvement. IIRC we all pretty much ragged on JJMcD last year and then found out he was pretty beat up and struggling to just play. Sometimes things aren't always as they appear.

A nice stat, but that's all it is. The next game and whether SMU wins is what matters right now.

If GG throws an INT and SMU wins? BFD. Won't matter. SMU spoils TU's season and likely gets a fourth consecutive bowl game.

If GG doesn't throw an INT and SMU loses? BFD again. SMU lost. Won't matter because the season will be over.
