Granted that bowl invites are more plentiful these days, nevertheless 4 bowls in 4 years in a great improvement over the dismal years after the DP. The senior players are right - SMU has improved enough that now we get mad if they don't win. The seniors were a special group and should always be appreciated for their winning record on the home field (we will over to over look the sorry road record our of respect for what they did accomplish.) SMU is still a so-so mid-level program, but it is afr better than when we were on the Bottom 10 lists. I doubt that we will ever regain the glory days of the pony express or the era of Doak Walker. We are what we are. It was nice to upset Tulsa as we leave the CUSA.

I think while some may not be satisfied with being a so so mediocre team that most are comfortable with it.

Not comfortable, just remember us being stopped on the 1 yard line at Rice in 06
Things could've been a lot worse with the injuries we've had.

While we did lay 2 huge eggs and gave away a game to TCU this is still a great accomplishment nonetheless.

Sit on those eggs. Maybe they'll hatch.

The 12-game performance by the June Jones-coached (and recruited) offense was absolutely atrocious. Thank goodness the defense forced 100 turnovers.
GG will be among the lowest rated quarterbacks in the nation and among the lowest completion percentages and lowest yards per attempt. Yes, he is truly a system quarterback -- in a dreadfully awful, archaic outdated system. Yet, JJ remains a "genius"?
Yes, GG had guts and played tough today, but this team was painful to watch from the opener vs. Baylor.
We pay June Jones WAY too much money to put up with his lack of preparation, attention to detail and game management. This team was not worth the price of admission. Nor are they worth the school losing well into six figures for a third-tier bowl in Hawaii.
I can hear the TCU people laughing out loud at us -- again and again. Have fun defending JJ all you want. He has underperformed and taken us all for a ride. And, it'll probably be another $2.1 million in his pocket next season -- not to mention the certain bowl bonus he will get.

No bowl next year unless you get to a bowl at 1-11.

You want to put some money on that record prediction?

Who on here has defended JJ in the last month?
