Really pulling for him to go off and get the SMU career scoring record.

And the career rushing and all purpose yard records. He could own all of them, it's pretty damn special.

Line doesn't play in a run-first offense theoretically...

Nor do the defenses play run stop first. Shawnbrey started it and Zach took the baton. Zach is like 300 yards away in career rushing yards.

Right, but Zach Line never had another back in the game to block for him. He got his yards behind five blockers who ran out of a stand-up blocking stance. Each had advantages.

But Dickerson didn't play in an offense that throws the ball 90 percent of the time either.
Can I pull my pants off again now?

From what I have seen in person I would rank the best SMU RB's as
1. Dickerson
2. Charles Wagner
3. CJ
4. Dupard
5. Zach Line

And McIlheney attempted 10 passes a game. They got A LOT of touches.

Line isn't running behind a line that's average income is more then the cowboys... Also this kid had no offers when he came to SMU. He may not be ED but he deserves every bit of praise

They split time with people keying on them in one of the top conferences that had talented defenses designed to stop the run.
Those who actually saw Charles Wagner say he may have been the best back SMU has ever had. He and Dickerson had so much speed and power until they were freakish.

I'd toss Wayne Morris in there somewhere.
