Never, never, never leave 1 second on the clock for the opposition. Make the officials make you put it back on. Maybe, just maybe they will not, and my heart will have the extra beats it lost on the final play today.

Very good point. I was thinking the same thing - especially after they already made us adjust it once inside the final minute.
