Where is our conference leader Aresco?

Where is the guy? I have been waiting for him to bring some confidence back to this conference. I'm sure he's been talking to them privately but it sure would be nice to know what networks we are in negotiations with. Heck after next year will we be on tv?? The big east will collapse if there is nothing to tie the conference to. Look at us with our doomsday scenario thread. I wouldn't be surprised if the other teams are negotiating with other conferences, heck even Houston. Maybe they are negotiating with cusa to have tier 1 tv rights etc.

What do you want him to do? Issue the State of the Union address? He's powerless if the ACC and Big Ten are calling member schools, and TV networks are understandably cautious of signing any major contract w/ the BE right now.

[deleted] doesn't flow uphill. I always get a kick out of posters blaming a Commissioner because no decent conference wants their school. If a BCS conference came after SMU would it make a difference what a Commissioner wanted. They are helpless and basically reduced to watching the Big Dog Eat the Little Dog.

+1.
If Aresco came out tomorrow and said the BE schools were unified and the conference was moving forward towards a lucrative TV deal, and on Tuesday the Big 12 called Louisville and Cincinnati, they'd be gone in heartbeat. Aresco isn't to blame here.

Nobody other than those in retail works on Thanksgiving weekend/week so nothing has happened and there is nothing to update. I would hate to have to work for you or someone like you!

He did an interview during halftime of a Big East game on MSG network a couple of weeks ago.
