CU will not hire a 6-6 coach from CUSA.

Why not? Their last hire was Jon Embree. A 6-6 coach from CUSA would be a step up!

Colorado should have hired Leach 2 years ago. Those hippies deserve it.

Do you find it ironic that their only win this year came against Leach and Washington State?

Colorado's decline over the last decade has been truly astounding. Through most of their time in the Big 12 the Buffs were one of the top programs in the league. Now they are arguably the worst BCS-level football team in the nation.

Colorado was one of the worst programs in the country in the early 80s. they were an elite team in the late 80s until the late 90s more or less. their success was in getting elite players out of Southern California and Texas during times that UT and USC were down. when UT and SC are up,it is hard for them to recruit at a level thAt makes them a national power. And also, the PAC 12 is a tough conference.....CU was in their worst years a .500 team in the big 12. Athletically they look like a MAC team in the PAC 12,

UCLA is fine post-Neuheisel.

The CU problem is a result of Gary Barnett leaving that program in no better shape than a dumpster fire. Since that scandal, the CU faculty has hamstrung the Buffalo athletic department and prevented them from hiring good coaches and competing on a level playing field.

When the academics take control of the football team, all hope is lost.
