So sporting news has ULaLa going to the Compass bowl even though they already accepted a New Orleans Bowl bid? Not sure I have a lot of faith in their predictions.

Is St. Pete really a possibility? Last year I remember we thought for a few days that was our bowl. I like the Friday night time slot although I would only travel to Heart of D (sounds unlikely) or Armed Forces. My Christmas dinner has been scheduled for the 22nd....otherwise I would have planned to go to the New Orleans provided we got an invite

Would be interesting if we ended up playing Pitt again as they are currently projected in the St. Pete by a few sites.

Traditionally St. Pete goes to an East division school. ECU or UCF will most likey end up there.

Phil Steele has SMU vs Air Force in the Armed Forces Bowl... Long road trip to Fort Worth.

I was told today that St. Pete is a possibility. Not by anyone from a bowl or anything, but someone who claims to have "a source, a good one" or something.

I'd be cool with St. Pete, and I had a blast in Birmingham last year and would gladly do that again. A re-match with Pitt could be fascinating.
