Since they invited Tulane I am highly anticipating who they are going to invite to replace Louisville. Should be fun?

Fresno. Would hurt MWC enough to keep Boise, SDSU, SMU, Houston from exploring options in that conference.

I heard Vassar was going to institute some major sports programs so they could respond to the BE's inquiries.

I realize everyone is apoplectic about the Big East, and yes it's CUSA 3.0, but it's better than staying in the current CUSA, that's for sure. And that's what would've happened to us if all of this happened a few years ago.

While I agree with you on this one, overnight our better than expected conference shift we lucked into suddenly looks like a lateral move. It's like being all happy you got a 3% pay raise only to find out inflation is 3-4% a year.

Just be glad you got a raise. You slacked [deleted] at your job for twenty [deleted] years and then started giving somewhat of a crap in the past five.

It will be more than a 3 or 4 percent raise. SMU was getting around 900,000 from CUSA. It looks like the contract will still be around 5 to 8 million per team in the BE. It is not eh 14 million that some expected but a lot better than CUSA. We are in much better shape.
