MAC Title Game

I'm interested in this one tonight - I'd like to see the MAC get a team into the BCS and upset the Big East or ACC. I'm going to pull for Kent State because their higher ranked and would probably get in regardless with a solid win tonight. To be honest, if it was my vote, my winner would be in the top 16 regardless.
Flashes just scored to go up 7-0.

I agree, especially since Louisville is a traitor.
I think Kent State has to win to bust the BCS though. NIU also needs Boise to lose which is unlikely.
Plus, if NIU wins, the voters will intentionally deflate their ranking to keep them out of the BCS. They would never get away with dropping Kent State after a win over another Top 25 team.

There's high schools in the metroplex with better teams than these two. I don't see how in the heck they are ranked.

If we had only 1 conference loss, I could see that being a valid complaint. If we had scheduled cream-puffs we still wouldn't be ranked with losses to Tulane and Rice yet 9-3.

The formula to busting the BCS= play 1-2 BCS teams and 10-11 cream puffs. A'la us last year, Boise, TCU, Hawaii and so on.

I believe the proper terminology is "Kent State is going to Coog it".
