Sad story. Unfortunately, I am sure this will turn into a discussion of head injuries and safety in the nfl.

Don't forget the anti firearms crowd.

Why do you say unfortunately? If head injuries unbalanced him then something needs to be done to better protect the players. If he was born with a chemical imbalance then so be it.

Sad. As someone who's had a friend commit suicide, there are so many questions afterwards. Everyone asks "why did I miss the signs; what could I have done to prevent this."

Prayers for him, his girlfriend, those who witnessed it, and families and friends involved.

From what I understand the GM and HC were at his car pleading with him not to do it when he shot himself. Very sad, situation.

Because every media hack will blame head injury for this without any evidence to back it up. Yet the massive milltary suicide rate is hardly discussed.

Tougher situation for the families of the 2 that were killed and the daughter of the 2 that now has no mother or father.
