There are only 2 power conferences

I hope this hasn't already been posted. Apologies if it has. I pulled this list of the top 15 athletic departments by revenue from the DMN. The total dominance of the SEC and the Big-10 in the money game is amazing. Of the top 15 schools in revenue, only UT, OU, and Notre Dame are not affiliated with either the Big-10 or the SEC.

0 schools from the PAC made this list. 0 schools from the ACC (unless you count ND) made the list. 0 schools from the Big East (no surprise there) made the list.

The rumor is that Mike Slive and Jim Delaney have had an informal sit-down and agreed on the boundaries: You don't come after our schools and we won't go after yours. If so, that must have sent shivers down the Big XII and ACC's spines - and you see how it's already been played out.
