UTEP to hire Sean Kugler

@footballscoop: We have learned that Steelers offensive line coach Sean Kugler will be the next head coach at UTEP
My reaction: who? Why would you choose him over Dan Hawkins who had success at Boise and didn't succeed at CU only because it's a dumpster fire?

I was getting excited about the possibility of a Dan Hawkins hire. What is UTEP doing?

Well their offensive line should be pretty good.

I guess they wanted to hire someone with UTEP roots and he did play for them so I guess he qualifies.

I guess they saw what Hawkins did while in the Big 12 after he inherited a decent team.
He left Embree a mess. I hope SMU doesn't consider him once June retires.
