Came here to post this. Lol @ Tech fans for alway claiming he was there to stay, he even moved his mother there etc. leaving Tech for Cincy must be a major hit to Tech fans..

He was actually trying to leave Tech for a while because he did not like it there. As ESPN reported that Tech was "completely blindsided" by this.

most Tech supporters out here are jumping for joy. Techsters have never warmed up to him, there is stil lingering animosity among the Leach supporters. I think Tuberville was almost in a no win situation up in Lubock. Well they got what they wanted.Re: Tuberville to Cincinnati?

Tech officials were blindsided. Not saying the fans did not want him gone. Just now they are picking from leftover for the most part. They might even have to go for an assistant coach now.
