What in the world is the ND doing with the lei? These Hawaii guys need to leave the leis at home.

You would think Johnny has this in the bag w/ his stats.

I believe it has to be Andre Ware in 1989. Brown's last year at ND was 1987.

I believe it is bad mojo not to wear them if they are presented as gifts. Also, makes much more sense for the native islander.

If you are referring to a player the year he won the Heisman it probably is Ware. If it is a player who won the Heisman, it has to be Ricky Williams.

I thought all three had inspiring stories and are great leaders for their team. However I think JF deserved it without a doubt.

Agreed. The Baylor and A&M losses came to high achieving teams. We have no reason to hold our head down about either game. "We was outgunned."
