Guess Gary Ransdell has some cajones still. Great guy, many in Dallas still in contact with Gary. Good job, chief.
(Dr. Ransdell became Director of Alumni Relations at Southern Methodist University in 1981, a position he held until 1987 when he was named the Vice President at Clemson).

Petrino will be gone by next December. The guy is a piece of [deleted].
If we go after him next year, I will not support SMU football until he is gone.

I think if you hire Petrino you have to structure the contract such that if he stays less than 2 years he has to repay his salary. Otherwise it is a huge gamble. While I don't mind cycling through successful coaches every 4-5 years, you definitely want to avoid having a situation like Pitt.

Most all coaches have buyouts and WKU is not in the position of being demanding in any contract negotiations because ASU was also talking to him.

Petrino is just what we need. We shouldn't have waited.
