They seem to have wanted to go to a better bowl and play a better opponent. So since they are somewhat disinterested in playing in the Hawaii bowl then SMU should put a beat down on them because June will have the Mustangs ready to go.

I wish SMU was disinterested but we accept and are excited of mediocrity. Woo hoo for average!

Well let me attempt to defend my position in two ways: 1) does a win against either Fresno or AF really matter? No. What sounds better to the common person? We beat Fresno in Hawaii bowl or we beat AF in armed forces? I say AF since people actually have heard of that team. This is the first time I really even heard of Fresno lol.

Since Iowa St is a BCS team that might be a higher profile team. But FSU really wanted a shot at a BCS team in a bowl. I don't know if June wanted that since he said that he would like to play Hawaii in the Hawaii Bowl.

Fresno St. should be disinterested.

I've heard more of Fresno State over the years than I have Air Force, I remember watching David Carr beat a few BCS teams, and I also remember that Fresno almost upset USC in 05 when U$C had Matt Leinart, Reggie Bush, LenDale White, Steve Smith, and Dwayne Jarrett. I think a win against Fresno St would be a quality win especially after the way this season has gone.

We will have to see, but to the young crowd... Fresno state sounds worst than NTCC, just saying. I hope I'm wrong, but I doubt it.

You should probably speak for yourself, and not "the young crowd".....any college football fan knows Pat Hill put fresno state on the map with their "anyone, anywhere, anytime" motto. Fresno has been a really good Non BCS team over the last 10 years. Ryan Mathews drew national attention to Fresno even though they were having a down season.
