Help- 9 hours in Hawaii to include game

Headed to Honolula with my daughter for the game ( glad she works for American Airlines )...we will arrive ( hopefully ) at noon gameday and would love to have a few pre game adult beverages with some die hard Mustangs fans prior to the game. Other than the exculsive ESPN tailgate where you can not buy a ticket any adivce on where we should go ...thinking just head to the Sheraton and at least have an hour at the hotel bar before we leave for the game --- any ideas better than would be appreciated

Good work, tailgate in the lot or hotel bar ---> game. Don't recall much around stadium. They sell beer at game too.

Wish I had some advise for you, but I trust you will manage to have a good time. If B'ham is any indication, the hotel bar is a sure bet. Have fun Baller.

The stadium is closer to the airport...I wouldn't go all the way to the Sheraton first as its a long way back to the stadium, especially since game time there is around noon?....best to just head to the stadium..you will find a tic and SMU fans there.

Is there not a tailgate at the stadium this year like there was at the 2009 game?
