why would june trash johnny football knowing he has to play him next year? apparently he also thinks the ucf qb is better. sometimes i just don't get him at all.

Seems pretty clear that he is referring to the best drop back passer. It even says it in the article.

Give it a rest! Criticize his lack of recruiting, lack of effort in recruiting, lack of success in recruiting, put stop being so petty with these little jabs it is very tiresome.

June always complements the other team, it's coach, and/or its players before a game. I cannot recall him ever talking down to an upcoming opponent.
Johnny Football will not care.

June is just giving his opinion which he's entitled to no matter how laughable it is. Of particular hilarity is June's belief that Manziel's ability to run around and make plays isn't "playing quarterback".

Standard coach-speak: the team/coach/quarterback/linebacker your team is about to face is as good as any out there. You ALWAYS talk up your opponent. If nothing else, give the opponent a false sense of security. Stop BBQ-ing Jones for doing what countless other coaches do, too.

He is also giving aTm bulletin board material for next year. See Hawaii vs Florida after JJ comment on Tebow. Never heard a coach do it to the extreme that Jones does it Corso.

How many QB's has JJ had that made it onto a regular season NFL roster? Don't believe Chang or Brennan did.....
