Throughout the game, the story on ESPN wasn't "SMU is kicking a--" .... just "Can Derek Carr and Fresno State come back to make it a game?"

You have to love "The Next J.J. Watt?" on SportsCenter!
The game presentation was ridiclous at times though.
I did like the sideline reporter though. She was top-notch.

Loved beating the crap out of an old conference foe, especially since we were underdogs, and that it was featured on ESPN in prime time.

Not a matter respect, announcers realized they were losing an already deminished audience and tried to keep the audience in the game. Nothing worse than a blow-out game to keep an audience interested and make sponsors happy.
