SMU should challenge for the Big East title next year

With all the teams that are leaving the Big East we should at challenge at least for the west division title at the least. We have no major teams to out recruit now so this class is about as good as any of the classes of the teams that are staying so I think we should look for a better season next year following the momentum of this Hawaii Bowl win.
Bosie State

Bosie State will be the team to beat when they play in the Big East.

Outside of Boise who else? In fact the way things are going Boise might not even be in the league.

Better find some receivers that can catch and get a hell of a lot better at winning on the road. It'll be an epic victory if we can find 6 wins to go bowling (especially with a likely 0-4 start).

At least Rutgers, Louisville, Cincinnati, Boise State, San Diego State, and UCF. Houston, Temple, USF could easily rebound to have big years.

Not in our division though. We will be ready.

Boise State, San Diego State, Houston, and Temple will be. Not saying we shouldn't be competitive, but it is not a given.

Temple has a new coach and Houston's new coach has not proven he can take win at Houston. Should be a good year for us imo.

Our entire offense and most of our defense (at least 7-8 of them) are returning next year. High 3 star/low 4 star recruit O'Korn if he keeps his commitment and doesn't go to Louisville or Wisconsin (which is very likely that he will stay with us), Cosh, Dausin or MAYBE just MAYBE Kohlhausen will challenge for the starting job. Piland most likely will be gone if he does not win the job. (I hear he is already out of here but we'll see.)
Our 5-star receiver Greenberry has solidified himself as our #1 guy this year along with a good corps of our other freshmen and sophomore receivers McDuffie, Peace, Ros, Roberts and Phillips. Charles Sims will be healthy and ready to go along with our power back Farrow. Adding to our receiver corps is Minnesota standout AJ Barker, who does not even have to sit this year because the Gophers did not give him a scholarship. If he can be a leading receiver in the B1G, then I can't wait to see what he'll do in the nBE!
Defensively, it's gonna be tough to replace Hayden and Steward but we got an LSU transfer who sat this year due to transfer rules so he'll be solid and among others.
We also have the nation's top kicker (according to Scout, #9 on Rivals) coming in to replace Hogan and I saw some of Carroll's games this year. Kid can kick.
Remember that most of our starters this year were Freshmen and Sophomores, I'm not sold on Levine's coaching but the guy is a hell of a recruiter and will give him another year to do this.

Why can you not understand that we beat you by 30 points with all your guys that will be returning. This excites us more than it should you.

If we lost to Tulane and Rice we have the potential of losing all our conference games in the BE lol.

Um...we beat you by 30 in 2011. We lose all of our senior starters and you beat us by 30 in 2012. You lose all of your senior starters so we'll see what happens in 2013. You beat us for the first time in almost a decade and now you think you're world beaters. We have SMU's number and you guys don't do well in Houston. You would think that you would understand the impact of
EXPERIENCE.
Even though you did beat us this year, YOU STILL GAVE UP 42 POINTS TO OUR FRESHMEN AND SOPHOMORE STARTERS! Then again, nobody this year except for Tulsa and Ucla have held our O under 28 points. These same 11 guys who know the offense pretty well now are all coming back next year and will have even more exp under their belt and you guys have to replace Hunt, Reed, Line and others.
Houston has always been and hopefully will always be an offensive juggernaut.

Tell that to Mrydel who seems to forgot that we hammered both Rice and Tulane.

72 points. Bring them all back. Oh and by the way, to borrow a phrase for old time sake, I have forgotten more about football than you will ever know,
