Granted, I know 7 wins is really nothing to get excited about since but at least since we had a win in the last game it should give us momentum going into next year as we get ready to compete against some BCS team on OOC play.

I expected 7-8 wins at the beginning of the season. Losing to Rice and especially Tulane still hurt, but this win takes away plenty of sting.

Many predicted seven wins. How many stuck with it when we were 2-4 and had just lost to Tulane?

At some point we should be expecting 8 regular season wins and not just squeaking into a bowl game. I think next year should be the start of better season's for SMU.

I did-but it still doesn't count in post season. If you get credit I get credit for picking exact SMU record 7-5 plus bowl loss equals 7-6. I guess I nailed it

Yes congrats. But just think about the misses. Still lots to be happy about tonight - most importantly a winning season.

Many predicted 7 regular season wins which did not happen. This season was not something to jump up and down about. We are not that pathetic hopefully. But we did end on positive note and that should help us next year.

Agree, I expected us to beat 2 from Houston/Tulsa/Southern Miss and counted on beating Tulane and Rice. We won all 3, but lost the 2 so we still had a deficit. Should have finished at the very least 8-5, but based on the way things went I will take it.

Regardless I am really proud of this team and I will really miss this senior class! I was truly impressed with our performance tonight, more so defensively. This is a great opportunity to build off of (again) I hope we do just that!

We earned 7 wins and two of those wins were agains conference champions. Fresno wins tonight and they might end in the top 25. No chance of that now. Carr dropped out of the preseason Heisman and folks will know that right tackle is the key to shutting down Fresno.
So we end strong and expose some weaknesses on a team supposedly a lot better than us. Not a bad way to conclude this season.
