Undefeated when scoring first

In the past few years SMU has been undefeated when scoring first and it happened again against Fresno state. The bad news is we always lose if the other team scores first. What's with this inability to make come backs?

We have an inconsistent offense and no ability to go no huddle to help comeback efforts because our HC insists on chatting with the QB after every play.

I just about died when we didn't have our first pay from scrimmage scripted...literally every play

Ok trying not to be negative on Christmas so I will temper my response; but what exactly can the fans do to keep us from coming back after the other team scores first???. A perplexing response. Can't you come up with something better than that?

Fan in the stands? Are you serious? You blame the fans for the team's inability to keep up its morale after the opposing team scores first?

To be fair it is a streak covering both home and road games so he is deflecting the blame to both our fans and our opponents' home fans with that silly question.

Some of those losses were at away games as well. So fans in the stands would not really be the issue.

It seems to be a confidence thing, which is a coaching thing. It seems we feel the game is over by the end of the first quarter either way. Absurd.

Our defense plays better with a lead and seem to generate turnovers then too
