I understand that he won a lot of games as a coach, but so did Barry Switzer, and at least he's understandable and speaks something that vaguely resembles the English language. I'm not making fun of Holtz for his lisp -- good on him for going in to TV -- but he was just trying to point out how even though he's not much of a pro prospect, Kansas State QB Collin Klein has a chance to be a hero if he leads KSU past Oregon ... much like Florida fans still revere former Gators QB "Danny WAFFLE."

He said "Waffle" three or four times. Really? Not only should someone have talked through it with him, but how does he not know Danny WUERFFEL's name? It's not like we're talking about some no-name QB from a directional FCS school. HE WON THE HEISMAN TROPHY (in 1996)!

Lou, you were a good coach, but you've always been awful on TV. For the sake of your legacy and our ears, it's time to move on.

The guy has been super annoying since day one. get him off. what is it about these old school guys that some senior executive thinks is interesting? Im old enough to know his history and saw him coach - but i am guessing everyone under 40 is wondering if this is just a long joke being played on them.

i'm under 40. everyone knows who he is.

I saw him do magic tricks at a Bluebonnet Bowl press conference when I was 13. He should do more of that.

I prefer to call him granny.
