Academic Progress Rate for player considering transfer could be an important factor and a transferring player could transfer and play immediately with a 2.6 GPA. Rule still being formulated but its interesting

have always thought the one year sit rule was unfair to the student. meant to protect the schools rights to the athletes, not to protect the students. welcome the change.

If it occurs next year, I'm gonna be p-i-s-s-e-d. . . Especially with all the transfers sitting out for Larry Brown this year. If it went into effect this year, SMU would have a better record than the 10-5 record right now.
