Aggies have been a disappointment since 1999. For once all in the same year they had qualify record, knocked off a good opponent, won a major bowl game. Let them have this one.

OK, but they are still Aggies.

I remember sitting in Ford watching Manziel run all over us - multiple third-and-longs where we had the receivers covered and he runs 40 yards for a touchdown. Ughh.

But hey, he turned out to be the Heisman. Did it to Bama, did it to Mizzou, did it to the Sooners.

Besides, all the Aggies I always meet always wish us the best of luck and tell me "Ya'll are coming back."

Congrats to them, and they could be a beast next season.

They'll be very good, of course, but it will be interesting to see how they look when both starting offensive tackles, their starting center, at least one receiver, two starting defensive linemen and a linebacker or two are gone. They have talented depth, but they're replacing a lot of major cogs. They'll win a lot of games, but I can't see them running the table or anything.

I expect every member of the Alabama team has that trip to College Station circled on a calendar already.

Really? I really need to meet your Aggies. The ones I know and work with are classless and arrogant

I haven't heard one word from my Aggie family the last 15 years as even Tech outperformed them. Especially the last 2 when Baylor looked like the state's elite athletic program. I liked it that way. The most obnoxious fans in college football just got more obnoxious.

Anything, anything is better than listening to Longhorns.

Just tell the Aggies that say that that Eastern Michigan is the real national champ. After all:

EMU > WMU > UConn > Louisville > Florida > A&M > Alabama > Notre Dame

By that logic...

Alabama < A&M < Florida < Louisville < Syracuse < Minnesota < Texas Tech < Texas < TCU < Iowa State < Tulsa < SMU!

Just think... this aggie team would likely have won the Big 12, maybe even been undefeated. They probably would have been the ones embarrassing Notre Dame if they did.

Here in Midland, we are a one horse town. It is the Oil & Gas industry and that is it. So 95% of the people who work out here are either, Texas, Tech, A&M or Oklahoma graduates. Yes, there are a few of us Mustangs out here too. Good grief the most obnoxious Aggie of them all, Clayton Williams, lives out here and he is my RELATIVE! He is the exception the rest of them are good guys and we all have fun giving each other grief on Mondays during the fall. But all of them are supportive of what SMU is doing and want to see the Mustangs get back to a level that they once were, without the cheating of course.
Every school has its jerks, even SMU, but they are few and far between.
