Oprah interviewed fallen hero Lance Armstrong, which has had a bit of a cathartic effect on the cycling community and Lance supporters. mr. pony is putting forth a tongue in cheek argument that SMU should do the same thing

Oprah probably assumes we must have done something worse than cover-up the raping of little boys like at PSU and wouldn't even want to bring up what that might be.

Who would win a lying contest - Lance vs. Te'o? Lance has the experience but Te'o is the young up and comer, although still unproven.

I assume you are kidding. The difference between the two could not be greater. Te'o was both a victim and naive. His "lies" either were intended to preserve his self esteem and/or not be a distraction for the Championship game.

Heard rumor that Lanny Kakua was supposedly younger than 18y/o. Ergo State of Indiana will charge Te'o with statutory cyber-sex charges, and then retract the charges.
