OT: Super Bowl

I can not describe how badly I want Ray Lewis to lose. The guy is a great player, but a nauseating fraud of a human being, and I'm tired of the media acting like he's the greatest linebacker who ever lived or something.

This is really weird for me to say, but GO NINERS.

I live in DC and thus hate all things Baltimore. On the other hand the Skins did beat Baltimore this year, so even if the Ravens won, we can at least come back with, so, we beat you. But I picked the Niners at the beginning of the year to go all the way, and thus hope they do. Two great defenses against each other and the offenses are pretty similar in talent. Should be a great game.

yeah - im with you. pretty ambilivant on the game, but i dont understand how anyone can listen to Ray Lewis and not want to puke. so corn-ball - the lack of sencerity is shocking - he is a walking Saturday Night Live skit.

How true! I have never liked the Ravens simply b/c he is there. After a post game interview he gave after the win over Denver, you would have thought he was citizen of the decade! Go 49ers!

After going to the Falcons game on Sunday, and watching my team blow a 17-0 lead, my allegiances have turned to "Balermore."

I also live a block from where Ray Lewis and co. stabbed the guy in 2000.

Maybe Wes Welker's wife wasn't too off, when she tweeted about Lewis; Ray L. has never married, but 4 baby mommas/6 children, plea deal which reduced his involvement in the two murders (stabings) down to a probationary period. What a great member of the entitled group.

Where's your white suit Ray? What ever happened to that?

Exactly. What a jerk. ESPN jumped through fire to hire him (probably overpaying for a first-year analyst/ranter/self-promoter). The media is fawning over him like he's Reggie White or something, when in fact he has slowed down and is not the player he was, and now they're trying to act like we should root for him.

I'd rather see David Akers get a ring.
