JJ to NFL?

Buddy of mine just texted me that he heard a rumor of JJ to the NFL.
Anyone else hearing anything? This just seems way too far-fetched to me.

It's a rumor about a non-BCS HC going to the league as a DC. It's the New Mexico State HC.

I hope I'm wrong but that's what I've heard. JJ leaving and getting buyout money would be ideal.

Walker has got to want the hell out of there. Head fb coach at nmsu and AD at ut pan am have got to be the worst D1 gigs out there

if jones leaves right now...who the hell is going to be our coach? if he was going to leave, it needed to happen a couple months ago

All head coaching jobs have been filled and JJ would not go as an assistant.
