looks like they've deducted some points for our projected non-qualifiers and we are down to 74 on Rivals in Average and 80 in Total Points-so I say about the No. 77 Class right now. Remember all the posts about well looks like we are ranked No. 38 what's all the bitchin' about? The response was wait and see how far we drop

Was watching ESPNU's NSD coverage and about 10 minutes ago they had SMU as the #5 class in the BE (ahead of Cincinnati and UConn). I don't know if that is an instant ranking or their overall ranking, but they must think we have a fairly competitive class for the conference.

I hope the 2014 class rocks.

ESPN is counting Johnson, Moore, and Baxter in the class who are all non qualifiers. But even 5th is not that good in a conference of 10 unless we like mediocrity.

We may have a few players here and there, but I'm not at all pleased with this class. We need better.

That explains it.

I didn't say it was great or very good. But assuming the BE is step up from CUSA, you first have to be comparable to your competition before you can surpass them.

I agree. It will be interesting to see how ESPN ranks us after they remove those names from the commitment list.

But will he strike a "Heisman" pose. If he does, it's Okie Doak, by me.
