Someone please post a recap!
That's awesome. Norm knows his stuff. Good to see him having Zach on his show.

pretty generic interview. comes across as a level headed kid (no surprise there).
not much discussion of smu other than posing the question if being in a pass heavy offense (ha) would hurt his stock in the draft. he mentioned a brand new offensive line his senior season and a new qb each year.
said being drafted by the lions would be his ideal situation.

This is pretty generalized and the main points I heard but here's what I got:
Early minutes: Zach wants to be able to run a 4.5 come combine day, worked on improving his running form, says his 40 times have improved.
Discussed interviewing techniques and coaching he's receiving, learning how to keep composure when asked oddball questions, and how to handle questions in interviews that may cause discomfort or confusion.
Norm asked if playing in a pass first offense in college perhaps increased his stats because defenses were playing the pass first, Zach refuted by stating he had to be on his toes more by picking up blitz packages and protecting the QB while making the most of his runs when given the opportunity.
Works out with Montee Ball and Eddie Lacy and asked how he compares to other running backs, says that there are some things that each individual is better at, but those two in particular are freaks of nature.
If he could choose who drafted him he would prefer the Detroit Lions because he's from Michigan and would like for more of his family to attend games.

If he runs a 4.5, he'll get picked higher than I thought going in to his senior year.

Norm said the same thing given his size and that speed.... Could end up being called the pain train.

I am sure I just wasted the last 30 minutes trying to upload the audio (and I'm sure there's a better way to do it), but thought you guys might be interested since I'm sure most people missed the segment

I missed the interview but at the beginning of his show Norm said if Zach has a good combine he could go as high as the 3rd round.

That's what I have heard: 3rd or 4th round.
I sure am going to miss seeing #48 running the ball for us.

Thanks for the upload. Such a composed kid, hope he goes high. You would think teams are going to salivate over his blocking ability, specials teams, etc.

Cowboys could certainly use a durable back who can block and play special teams.
