I found the part about having to remove himself from an English class due to gushing classmates to be quite amusing. More proof that aggies are not capable of handling success.

He's a BMOC
Big Man Off Campus
Would you spend time in College Station if it could be avoided?

If he's taking all of his classes on-line, he should have to play football on-line, or at least be restricted to video games.

Seriously, this is a total joke. I know the classes might well be legit, but doesn't the NCAA act like college athletes also are students? If he's being a "student" by taking classes (if, in fact, he's the one taking them) from his computer, does that qualify? Yeah, he won the Heisman, and Aggie High seems like a place that's not afraid to offer special treatment to athletes, but this is complete BS.

shhh our starting QB had 27 hours of correspondence courses to transfer to SMU. Yes it is a joke. NCAA tried to address this a couple of years ago to require a minimum of 50% of courses in traditional class environment but the schools voted it down. Again, people love to blast the NCAA-its an easy whipping boy-but its to schools who vote to make the NCAA powerless. I have a feeling this story has some wings and some newspaper might make a freedon of information request to some state institutions. Just got a feeling someone is gonna want to dig up some dirt on this practice. NCAA does not want this type of story out there

My sister currently attends A&M, I told her I would visit her for 2 occasions; graduation and to move out! After hearing all the whoopin and gigem business this past season from the entire Aggie Nation, I've come to question whether or not I'll make either of those two visits.

I believe it was 9 hours of correspondence courses and 18 hours of real classes

Maybe it's an attempt to keep him from getting arrested again. Keep him away from the dorm environment.

What a joke. Academic institutions should not be the only NFL farm league available...

I hope this kid holds it together. He's the perfect example of someone who might just get torn apart by success. See Vince Young for but one example.

Seems like someone wins the Heisman almost every year. And this hasn't been a problem until now?

I just don't understand the A&M fans. Do they really hassle him or are they making that up? I once saw Zach Line eating at the food trucks downtown. Running up to him and his friends like some stalker and ruining their lunch didn't cross my mind.

Although we are talking about Dallas vs College Station here...
