Margus Hunt shines at Combine

Ran a 4.65 in the 40, and the announcers are falling all over themselves with praise. He ran one 4.60, but the announcers said the time is unofficial, and that the official time usually is a little slower, which it was - the 4.65 is his official time. Still ... that's the second-fastest time by any defensive lineman so far.
He also did 38 reps on the 225-pound bench press - the top performance by a defensive lineman (which must have really humbled the thick guys with short arms who don't have to move the weight as far...)
38-inch vertical jump! Announcers are now officially drooling.

great numbers, but we all knew this was going to happen.
his measurables are all going to be towards the top.

Not only an impressive 40time for Margus, but the entire DL group was impressive. Six 300+ OL break 5.0, man these young guns are crazy/scary these days. Margus actually had a 39'' jump last spring

Ran a 4.6, did 38 reps, jumped 38" in the vertical and broad jumped 10'1"?
That's almost not human. Way to go, Margus!

Looks like the NFL combine website said 34.5 inches. Did someone see 38 inches somewhere?

It will be fun to see where he lands, Bob Sturm seems to love him now since he was on their show.
