I woke up this morning and decided that Im going to try out for a college football team as a QB and I'm going to win the Heisman!

Please tell Mr. Johnson that I have several 45's that Ed gave me. And, I'd be more than happy to sell him one, preferably "High Hopes" by Frank Sinatra, so he can tell people he owns Eric's record; and he can even smash it to the ground, and tell people he broke Dickerson's record.

in all fairness, he has it in him if he can avoid the 20 yard games. He breaks several 80 yarders every year, but he also has a few 12 for 15 games. i don't see him getting the record, but he could lead the league again. AD is tough competition, though.

Johnson is unbelievably fast, but I don't know if he has the same burst/acceleration he had a few years ago.
And he could run for 3,000 yards in a season, and he'll never be as good as Dickerson.

Got that right. Watching ED run was a thing of beauty. As a LA fan, I had dreams of him getting all kinds of records and crushing other teams as a Ram.

Totally agree. Johnson is fast, but Dickerson was truly great.

Haha - well played, soccer mom.
There's a story on ESPN.com today about Manziel and the fact that his family is working with A&M to get an insurance policy taken out on him, to prevent against lost future earnings in the event of an injury. That part of the story wasn't unusual, as a lot of top players do that.
What jumped out was that he Manziel, when asked how much the policy was worth, said he didn't know, that his parents and A&M were working on that, and that he was just there "to play football and go to school." HA!
