America, Continental, East, Metro, numbers, etc.?
We will take 2/3 of the US (ET and CT), while MWC takes the other 1/3 with its MT and PT zones.
Answer: America East Conference (AEC)

Gulf Coast Conference
Texas, Louisiana, and Florida make up half the conference.

The National Conference of American Athletics. Then we could get everyone excited about the NCAA tournament. Of course we'd have to forego any logical way of determining our conference football champion...

Or Big MAC. That would differentiate us from the other MAC.
