How does this impact LeRibeus?

According to the Washington Post, the Washington Redskins have reached an agreement on terms of a five-year contract to bring back Kory Lichtensteiger, who started last year ahead of Josh LeRibeus. Washington coach Mike Shanahan loves Lichtensteiger, but they spent a third-round pick last year on LeRibeus, so you have to think that the team wants him to start next year. LeRibeus also has worked in practice at right guard and center, but the 2012 starters at those positions, guard Chris Chester and center Will Montgomery, are signed through 2015.

Montgomery had a very good year, and Chester was solid. LeRibeus's best chance should be at left guard, where Lichtensteiger is mediocre, but he's also one of Shanahan's favorites and they're sinking big money in to him, so you have to assume those three are the expected starters and LeRibeus has to just take a starting job by outperforming one of them in practice.

It's a LeRibeus puzzle.

Finally found a pun that had never been used in an SMU game program ... yesss!

LeRibeus was playing guard and center in practices for the Skins, right? I think he'll be starting somewhere along the line there by 2014

Josh may be used more at center. His versitility makes him very valuable to the team.

Hope so. Was their offensive line any good last year, or was Griffin just that good on his own?
Surely LeRibeus would me considered an upgrade!

Line was much improved last year. Griffin's mobility helped as did the zone blocking schemes and stretch offense. I see Josh as an integral part of the Redskins plans. Aldrick Robinson and Richard Crawford also look like they'll be wearing burgundy and gold on Sundays.
