Not sure if someone has mentioned any of these details, but figured I'd post anyway.
No specific numbers are included.

on first glance, it certainly seems like we will get more tv exposure at the very least

here is the pertinent info:
In football, the new contract will provide unprecedented national coverage for the league. In essence, the extensive national television coverage replaces previous syndication and local telecasts. All conference controlled games, which are conference games and non-conference home games, will be televised.
Nearly 90 percent of the games will be carried on national broadcast or national cable.
The minimum number of telecasts collectively on ABC/ESPN/ESPN2/ESPNU will be higher than the number of telecasts in the current contract, which expires at the end of the 2013 season.
The conference championship game, which is expected to begin in 2015, will be carried by ABC or ESPN on Championship Saturday.
In men’s basketball, all conference controlled games will be televised.
More than 63 percent of the games will be carried on national broadcast or national cable, which will be a minimum of 107 games.
The entire conference postseason basketball tournament will be on national television. The championship game will be televised on ABC or ESPN.
In women’s basketball, there is tremendous national and regional coverage.
Nearly 60 games will be televised on national cable, regional sports networks and ESPN3, including the entire women’s basketball postseason tournament. Eighteen regular-season games will be televised nationally.
The women’s basketball tournament championship game will be on ESPN or ESPN2. The semifinals also will be on national cable.

"90% of games on national broadcast or national cable" this is great. people will pick apart this deal and complain, its the message board birthright... but its pretty great if you ignore $$$$.

Looks pretty good to my untrained eyes. Obviously no reference to money, but we'll just make our own money as we get more exposure. I expect we'll finally see the CFKBE (Conf. Formerly Known as the Big East) getting some positive spin on ESPN.

I'm just grateful that all of our games can be reached with any service provider now... Well unless its EspnU I think, is that still a premium channel? Nevertheless much better than crappy time Warner. It sucks that money blows but at least exposure is second best and will help us brand out.

About 5 years ago we had world wide coverage of all games on the Internet and only the Internet.

This is a good development, if for no other reason, that regular TV access for our conference sports. We will need to work harder, but we will be in the national game. You now have clear separation between conferences:
Big Dogs: SEC, Big10 and PAC12
Big Dog II: Big12
Dog at Risk: ACC
Young Dogs: Our nBE (too be branded) and MWC
Forever Pups: CUSA, MAC, Sunbelt, and WAC

It also says every conference game and all non-conference home games are on TV, and since we know our games at A&M and TCU will be on somewhere, that means every single game is on TV. Awesome.

Ain't that the truth. Huge step up, TV-wise, and if we never see Time Warner again, I'll be OK with that.

Definitely. If there's one thing ESPN knows how to do, it's to push events being shown on its networks. Even if it's just an in-game mention during another game, or a graphic coming in and out of commercials, we should see SMU mentioned on there a lot more. In a way, ESPN has become too in love with itself, but its impact in sports viewing can't be ignored, and this can only help.

I don't think ESPNU is a premium channel. I get it, and I don't pay anything extra for it.

Yup. Still have a ways to go, but we have definitely come a long way.

Remember though Bleeding R+B, this deal is not for this coming season, but for the 2014-2020 seasons. So we may not be on TV each week this year.

One of my major complaints with the old conferences is that we were relegated not only to crappy TV channels (when they were on), but also crappy radio. MANY weekend in the fall I spend on Lake Texoma and try to catch the games on the radio or listen to the pre-game broadcast as I haul [deleted] back to the Hilltop.
It really irked me that I could always hear TCU loud and clear on ESPN radio whereas I couldn't pick-up the Mustang Radio Network reliably until I got to Richardson (and by that time, I'm practically to the stadium).
This is just another example of how we're slowly climbing out of the bush league.
